COMPANY OVERVIEW
IP-Tribe was incorporated on 1 April 2009. Our founding members comprise a team of experts formerly from AudioCodes, Nuera, Fujitsu, Nortel, CMG, SingTel and Clarent with over 50-man years of experience in pioneering Advanced Telecommunications Core Network solutions.
With the establishment of headquarter in Singapore and regional offices in Malaysia, Vietnam and South Korea, we embraces a vision to be a key regional solution integrator partner and technical support arm for Next Generation Networks (NGN) building block vendors.
Today, we have established ourselves as a proven and trusted system integrator partner of regional Tier-1 telecom service providers in APAC. We offer best-of-breed and advance solutions to complex Next Generation & Converged Telecom Network solutions for telecom service providers.
IPT-Tribe provides end-to-end systems integration services covering presales, implementation and post sales customer support activities. We employ a team approach to ensure rapid delivery of solutions that meet the customers’ business objectives.

Ang Aik Hong
Founder and Managing Director
Aik Hong is the Founder and Managing Director of IP-Tribe, has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunication industry.
Prior to setting up IP-Tribe, he was the VP of AudioCodes for South Asia, where he led a South Asia team to grow its sales for three consecutive years from 2006 to 2009. Before joining AudioCodes, Aik Hong was the VP of APAC for Nuera Communications Inc., a US company that was acquired by AudioCodes in 2006. From 2002 to 2006, Aik Hong spearheaded Nuera business growth by winning key Tier-1 accounts such as StarHub, Telkomsel, Indosat, Telekom Malaysia, Bharti and Reliance Communications.
Aik Hong started his career in SingTel as a Senior Office from 1992 to 1995 and later on in Glenayre Electronics as Application Managers (1995-2000) before moving to Clarent Corporation as a Sales Director responsible for sales in South East Asia.
Aik Hong graduated from National University of Singapore with a First Class Honorary Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, major in Communications Engineering. |

Kho Wei Min
Co-Founder and Technical Director
Wei Min is the Co-Founder and Technical Director of IP-Tribe, has over 13 years of experience in the telecommunication industry.
Prior to setting up IP-Tribe, he was the System Engineering Manager of AudioCodes for South Asia, where he led a presales team that assisted VP of South APAC in his business activities. Before joining AudioCodes, Wei Min was a Senior Systems Engineer for Nuera Communications Inc., a US company that was acquired by AudioCodes in 2006.
Wei Min started his career as System Engineer at Nuera Communications in 1999 after graduating from Nanyang Technological University with an Honorary Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, majoring in Telecommunications Studies. |
